Mortgage Application Help

I am applying for a self-help usda mortgage. I got through the pre-approval stage and was sent home with the mortgage application.

I have NO idea what I am doing, and I went through and answered what I could, but that wasn't a lot. Would anyone be willing to help walk me through it?

I have a car that is paid off, one checking account, two savings, and some life insurance. I live with my parents, and I'm working on paying off a butt-load of student loans. First hang up, it says rent or own. Well, neither really, but what should I check? I'm just over-whelemed.
