I have a FHA and looking for a term. I am trying to modify my home with Chase and I am trying to reduce the interest rate which is 5% right now. Chase has been really slow with responding to my modification and I am trying to research all of my options.

Have you been late on your mortgage in the last 12 months? You should be looking at an FHA streamline refi. but it will depend on the standing of your current mortgage.

How many times, when was the last late payment & how many months behind did you go?

I was in BK and I have been discharged, however, Chase removed themselves from the BK and is charging me interest and fees. Currently, my credit report is showing no lates but the amount due iequates to 12 months with fees.
