Mortgage Company pulling credit report

Are they allow to pull your credit report whenever they want without your permission. I'm really frustrated with my mortgage broker. They pulled my report on May 5th and they pulled it again today.

Re: Mortgage Company pulling credit report

All those inquiries should count as one in the FICO scoring formula, so it shouldn't affect your score, anyway.

Starting Score: EQ: 665 - TU: 687
Current Score: EQ: 749 - TU: ---
Goal Score: EQ: 760 - TU: 760

Why are they pulling my credit report so many times in the same week.

Re: Mortgage Company pulling credit report

Ours pulled twice in the same week. Maybe because they know it only counts as one inquiry. Can you ask them?

Re: Mortgage Company pulling credit report

Many loan officer make the mistake os pulling again instead of 're-issuing' the report when they try to import it into certain systems.

It is pretty archaic software we use sometimes.

Re: Mortgage Company pulling credit report

As long as it's within a two meek period it only counts for one hard inquiry.
