Mortgage Not Reporting

I am starting to get ready to get a second mortgage. We were discharged from Ch13 on May 2015. They started reporting the mortgage after the discharge. Then the account got deleted from reports because it started to appear as IIB. My current mortgage is not reporting to any of the credit  bureaus and they claim they dont have to report because we were in bankruptcy.

Is that true? I was under tyhe impression that in CH7 could happen if dont reafirm the mortgage. In the event that they don't report back. Will that affect chances of getting a new House, just by that issue?
