did you know that you don't have to use a local lender?

Nope didn't know that either.  So what does that mean an online lender or someone who is licensed in my state?

Yeah, any lender who is licensed in your state can help you out. For example: I work for an FDIC insured bank so I'm licensed in all 50 states.

You typically want to steer clear of the big "online" lenders like Quicken.
