Mortgage Score vs Credit Score

I see the term mortgage score being used a lot since I've joined a few days ago. Do loan officers focus on the mortgage score instead of credit scores? What are factors that would give you a higher/lower mortgage score than your credit score? Do mortgage scores effect both interest rates and how much you can be approved for? Do they effect certain loans more than others (conventional vs FHA)?

Mortgage scores are credit scores.  There are many versions of credit scores, even different versions of FICO scores.  

 

You can get your mortgage FICO scores here as of this year in the products section, the 3 B report.  That report will also have your FICO 8 scores, bankcard scores, auto enhanced scores as well as mortgage scores.
