Mortgage and average age of accounts

Does a mortgage count towards the AAoA? Or are only CC considered?
I'm close to get a mortgage and I wanna know. Any idea?

Re: Mortgage and average age of accounts

all accounts are calulated in AAoA.

Motgages, SL's, Auto loans, Sig loans, CC's,

If it displays as a Trade line (TL) it is calculated in AAoA.

Re: Mortgage and average age of accounts

I can go anywhere I want to- Smiley Very Happy

I have gone though 3 mortgages- all on the same house and have many friends in the industry. I used to work for a company that made apprasial software.
I am actually looking at a re-fi myself In Oct or Nov if I can get the rate I want.  I am at 6.3 fixed 30 years and would need to get it to <=5.5 to make it worth my time/money.

I had to wait for my HELOC to be a year old to use FHA.
