Mortgage document question

One of the many pieces of info that our mortgage processor is asking for 'an explanation for any negative credit items or inquiries.' Should I take that at face-value & send an LOE for every inq for the last 2 years & 2 30 day lates from 2007? It just seems strange that they'd ask for such a blanket LOE, particularly when I don't even have a copy of the CRs they are looking at.
Starting FICO 667 (5/2012) EQ
672 (7/2012) EQ. 681 (8/1/12) EQ
Current FICO 682 (10/13/12) EQ; 718 (10/13/12) TU
Goal: 760+ but 700-720 by jan 2013
