Mortgage foreclusure question

I filed BK 13 in 2007, the house wsa included in BK and I moved out.  BK was discharged in 2012, now the house is set for foreclosure September 2015. This means that I will have to wait 3 years after the forclosure in order to qualify for another mortgage? Id appreciate any info

Re: Mortgage foreclusure question

there was some talk about using the bk discharge date (if the house was included) to start the clock.

i know we dont do that here, and i dont remember where the topic ended.

Re: Mortgage foreclusure question

You can get a conventional mortgage based off the Bk discharge date. Here is the link that explains it, some lenders have their own more restrictive guidelines
