Can anyone shed some light on why my fico 8 goes up 25 points but my fico 2.4.5 havent budged? Im trying to by a house and this checkign every 2 minutes is for the birds!
Perhaps your mortgage Fico scores have been impacted by changes in your files. However, MyFico products won't update mortgage or other non Fico 8 scores more frequently than once per month.
I know that my version 8's have increased nearly 100 pts in the last year (636,673,659) which would put me in the convential approval range, but when I pulled my new mortgage version toda I nearly fell on the flooor - they are 50-100 points lower! that made me sick, they haven't changed nearly at all! 566/623/565. I was ready to buy a 2nd home now our dreams are shattered
With the subscription, your mortgage/auto/credit card scores only update every 3 months. Your FICO 08 scores will update in the event you have a change that triggers a score change, and they also update monthly.
There are some people who are grandfathered into their old plan (myself included), where all scoring models update monthly.

They do now offer a monthly pull for all scores for an additional $10/month. I am house hunting and upgraded to it in September. It came up on the bar on the right side of the dashboard for me . Personally, I wouldn't pay for it monthly if I weren't looking for a house, but my scores are very close to me getting a better rate, so I definitely want to keep an eye on them.
