I was under the impression that the broker was working for me... So when I said "I can't afford to pay those off!" Her next goal should've been to figure something out or at least attempt to not just assume I can pull the money out of my behind and definitely not be so rude about it. Especially when I said that I won't be able to continue with the purchase if I'm expected to pay them.
And for those reading this that are thinking "If she can't pay the 4k, how is she going to afford a house?" Many low income, one person income households can't afford to save because they pay rent... My principle and interest will be less than half my current rent payment, AND less than 1/8 my total income. I can save then, not now.

So I contacted the twit broker today about the one time mortgage insurance payment and having it added to my closing costs and well, that was just a ridiculous waste of time, but she did say they never ordered my FHA number. She said the contract isn't complete because the bank has not agreed in writing to the sale yet so they can't order one.
I told my realtor and he's thinking what I'm thinking... That it's crap. The bank approval is a contingency and had nothing to do with the number, right? We have a completely exacutible contract. Now my realtor is pissed and had me contact the assistance program for any other lenders I could possibly use.
We can get an FHA number, right?

No, they have more, I just won't know who until tomorrow. I had stayed with the current company because the person who pre-approved me was so great. He was also referred by my realtor. Unfortunately, he isn't able to do the non-profit since he didn't do the training and his (old) office wasn't contracted with the program I'm using, so my file was sent to their other office and now it's just a mess...
sales contract is complete between me and owner, but waiting on banks written ok for sale...
