Hi Lady Scarlet,

Thanks for your help, but I'm a bit confused.  I've read on several websites including a seperate thread here on this site that the new FHA loan limit can be figured simply by multiplying the current limit in your county by 1.75.  There seems to still be some confusion on this since 1.75 times my current limit is roughly 100k more than what you stated for my county.

The FHA limit is based on the median sales price (for the last year) in your MSA district/area.  If the median sales price has gone down then hence the lower estimate (and they are only estimates until FHA announces). and I believe it is 125% not 175%

COUNTY, please -- DaddyMac.

FHA will anounce the new limits by March 14.  Should be no more than a couple of weeks for the lenders to get eveything updated to where they can take apps for loans under the new limits (one of mine told me a week)
