My husband and I are wanting to buy a home. We have been looking for a few months. He had filed Ch. 7, 2 yrs ago, so I am finally able to start using his income now that his credit has turned around some. About 3 weeks ago, he was laid off his job. He began receiving unemployment, but decided to start his own business. We got legal, and now things are doing well. He has actually made more this way than he did at his previous job. How bad has this hurt our chances of getting a loan and being able to use his income??
