My mortgage through WAMU was recently sold to Countrywide. When with WAMU I know that I did have some legit lates, but some that I am not so sure that were legit but I have no proof. Thinking about my overall experience with WAMU makes my stomach turn. I have disputed through the CRA with no luck. What are my next steps? The late payments are really hurting my credit and we are wanting to purchase a new home soon. Thanks!
