We are trying to purchase a home in December of this year and have been cleaning up our credit. It is on track for the famous 620 by October.
we have a down payment for a 250,000 house or below currently and can have about 10,000 in reserve money a gift from my mother in law if this will grease the wheels on a loan.
my question are:
I currently have a tax lien from the state of GA. For 5K and I am not in payment arrangements with them.
Wife has student loans of 15K and is not in payment arrangements with them either.
Can we get a loan with the current circumstances? If not what do we need to do to get a loan approved for a December close
