New Construction Loan

Is anyone still doing construction loans or is that throwing good money after bad??? How does the fha construction loan work???? I was considering knocking down and rebuilding in order to be able to keep my house. Are there special rules about ltv? etc? Can I take my current loan at 841k and add a 200-300 k construction loan and do this under FHA?

Does anyone know???

I don't know much about new construction loans, but I am fairly certain that a loan over 1M (841k + 200K) will greatly exceed FHA lending limits, no matter where you are.
