We just went into contract on a home and set to close july 17. hopefully sooner!! but my question is does this new guideline count towards us since we are already in contract? is it for people who go under contract after july 1st or who close after july first?
just wondering if we will squeeze by or if im going to expect paying off some debts (anything over 1000) before closing? below is the statement i copied and pasted from the new guideline website. the part im confused about is "case numbers" hoping someone can clarify this with me PLEASE.
**The new guidance in this section of the ML is effective for all case
numbers assigned on or after July 1, 2012, and applies to all FHA insured loans
except non-credit qualifying streamline refinances.**
I would think you would need to be closed before they go into effect..
You get your case number when you submit your formal loan application.
