Newbie Mid-Score Question

If you apply for a mortgage jointly, does the averge of your mid-scores count as your "joint score"?  For example, my mid score is around 640 and my bf's is around 800.  Would they take the average our mid scores for mortgage approval?

No; unfortunately they will use the LOWER mid score, so 640 will be the magic number for you.
