I'm not in the market for a Mortgage and am working on building my credit via credit cards etc. However, I currently use TD Bank and was thinking about switching to Chase for my personal and business accounts. If I wanted to obtain a mortgage in like 2 to 3 years should I be moving my accounts to a particular bank to build up a relationship? Are there certain banks that are highly recommended? Does where I have my accounts really impact the process? I honestly know absolutely nothing about mortgages, but thought I should ask now to see if there is anything I can do 2 to 3 years ahead of time to help out myself in the future. Thanks!
