Payment Plan or Pay off Medical Bill for FHA

I have a question. My husband has a medical bill that is $6555, for FHA approval is it better to pay in full or if we had a payment arrangement set up would that be ok? Just wondering if we should aim to pay this off before trying to get a house. Because the money that could be used to pay off the medical bill could be used towards the $7k deposit the developer needs.

Re: Payment Plan or Pay off Medical Bill for FHA

You shouldn't need to pay it off or make payment arrangement plans in order to qualify for FHA, if a lender or broker is telling you that you need to talk to another.
