Planning to Apply for a Mortgage by May 1st

So I plan on applying for a mortgage by May 1st, I have a dispute currently that wont be completed unil 4/13/13. Is it good to pull my scores right before I apply for the mortgage so I know ahead of time what they are???? I'm so nervous as this will be one of the biggest things I have to do in this lifetime.
