How long does it usually take to get a pre-approval letter once you have turned in all of your paperwork for an FHA loan?

I got mine within the same week. I submitted the docs on Weds & my Realtor got the letter on that Friday afternoon
No more than a couple of days. Typically the lender will address the pre-approval letter to your realtor. I also CC my borrowers so they can have a copy as well.
