Pre-Qual hits on Credit Score

I need to get a pre-qualification in the next couple days for a home loan. I understand who pre-quals me doesn't have to be the lender I use for the loan. But will be credit get it twice if I use a different company? Do all companies use a hard pull in order to prequalify you?

Yes, its a hard pull for a PQ.

Every lender has to actually pull your credit to issue a true PQ.

If they are done within 14 days of each other they are treated as one inquiry by FICO scoring.
