Re: Pre-approved on VHDA loan..

Congrats! That amounts to a home price of $250-$300K depending on property taxes, PMI, and homeowner's insurance. Way to go! We looked at a home that was $299,600. It was a beautiful ranch home with tons of living space but it didn't have much storage space as the downstairs was the finished walkout basement and it was only two stories. I loved it a lot but we weren't going to get into another predicament of having very little storage space as it leads to a cluttered house. It also did not come with a refrigerator but it was super nice!

Re: Pre-approved on VHDA loan..

As I predicted with our pre-approved limit we are not gettting the house we want and def not location we want to be.. The houses we saw that are in your price range tends to be 20 or more miles away from Centreville, VA where we live now..

That's a bummer! Here in Colorado you can get a lot for that amount. 20 miles isn't too bad...about a 30 min drive?
