Will creditors see this as a mortgage inquiry when it is coded as "MISCELLANEOUS"? I've applied for a pre-qualification with 3 lenders and am seeng a bunch of inquiries now but it seems that only one has "mortgage" and the rest appear as miscellaneous. Should I be worried that it is being coded wrong? Inquires from Credco and FDC.
For what it's worth, I had different pulls from a bunch of different mortgage lenders but I was watching my scores incredibly closely and they all fell into the rollup at least on EQ, regardless of whether they were listed as mortgage inquiry or miscellaneous if it was from a recognized mortgage puller.
As soon as I took a bank credit inquiry though, dropped. I think there's a combination between inquiry type and lender name as to whether an inquiry gets rolled up, but in my experience it's not worth worrying over and credco was one of my pullers during my mortgage process.
