Q about PMI for FHA

My SIL also says some lenders are waiving PMI to close a deal for FHA -- because it's not really all that useful in protecting the lender?? She was a branch mgr in GA and just recently relocated to working at a branch on the TN-KY border. Has anyone else heard of this happening?

If not, what score do you need to get out of PMI? I just don't like paying useless fees Smiley Happy
