Question about title in Ohio

If I am obtaining a mortgage on my own, does my wife need to be on the title in Ohio?  We got a paper from the title agency that is starting the paperwork and it is a standard form listing me and asks for phone numbers and then asks for spouse's name and numbers.  I am getting conflicting information when I look it up.  The most common thing I see is that I can be on the deed solely, but it would require both of our signatures to sell it.  Is that right?

Re: Question about title in Ohio

Yes, you are correct. A spouse can hold title solely in their name, but the non-owner spouse will need to convey their dower interest when the property is sold.
