Recommended USDA loan guar. brokers/lenders in Iowa?

Visited with Wells Fargo and wasn't sold the lender was the right guy for us and he was the regional USDA expert.

Northwest Bank was miserable to deal with, they couldn't answer basic questions or give me the time of day when I asked for a USDA loan specialist. Their loan specialists aren't trained in USDA and close only 2-3 per year.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

The USDA has a list of approved lenders for the guaranteed loan program, here's a direct link to the PDF:

Maybe search through the list searching for "Iowa" to find other lenders in your state.

I was content dealing with Bridgeview bank until I found out I could go direct. Both of the people I dealt with at Bridgeview were knowledgeable and quick to respond.
