Rental History

I am in a little situation.  For February 2011 I paid my rent on the 15th versus the customary 1st due to a bill pay issue (I had payment scheduled in 6 month increments and did not realize that a payment was not sent on the 1st).  My lender has requested a 12 month rental payment history and I am wondering if them seeing that it was paid on the 15th versus the 1st will cause them to deny the loan and /ormake me go through some hoops.

Re: Rental History

Good Afternoon,

Your mortgage company will be checking your rental history to make sure you haven't been 30 days late on your rental payments, so you should be fine with the late amount showing up on the 15th of that month. You must have paid your rent on time ( not 30 days over due) for a full year in order for it go through underwriting.

Re: Rental History

I had a couple paid on the 10th and they never said anything, I assume as long as it isn't over 30 days late it's ok.
