Hello, my wife and I are looking to purchase a rental property some time within the next 6 mos or so. I wanted to know if anyone could offer any suggestions or advice or information on obtaining a loan for a rental property. How much is normally required up front these days for a rental? If anybody could offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Investment properties usually have a little stricter requirements. Rates are also a little higher.

Down payments still vary depending on different circumstances.
