Repairs for fha

The bank sent the realtor a list repairs.

 

  • INSTALL A VAPOR BARRIER IN THE CRAWLSPACE
  • REPAIR INSULATION THAT HAS FALLEN IN CRAWLSPACE
  • DETERMINE CAUSE OF DAMPNESS IN BASEMENT AND REPAIR AS RECOMMENDED
  • REPLACE PLATE ON ELECTRICAL BOX
  • REPAIR LIVING ROOM CEILING
  • ROOF INSPECTION (AND ANY REPAIRS THAT MAY RESULT FROM THAT INSPECTION)
  • INSTALL GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS ON SIDES OF DWELLING

 

 

I'm still waiting to see if they are willing to fix these things. I'm worrried that this will stop us from closing on 16th.  Not only will I have to wait n see what the sellers say but wait for it to be fixed and wait for a re-inspect.

Are re-inspects expensive?

typically, the re-inspection is $100 or so for the appraiser to go back out.

thanks... wish i didnt have to spend it but its not too bad. The realtor is getting everything fixed besides the gutters. So i'm going to price the gutters and see if its worth the investment i've already made or if i should back out. But from what i hear gutters shouldnt run too much. Oh they said on sides of dwellings. I wonder if thats just the two sides or all the around, I'm thinking its the sides cuz of the way the water would run down it
