Hi everyone, I am supposed to close on a home in Florida in about two weeks. I was told today that the roof is beyond repairable, and I am close to my loan approval price. I am trying to get the bank that owns the property to contribute to the new roof, but I can't find a lender who will do a escrow holdback. Does anyone know of one? Any info would be appreciated. I don't want to lay out the money ahead of time, just in case it doesn't close for some reason. I am not sure if the bank will even contribute, as they are trying to sell "as is". I would hate to lose this house over approx., 4000.00. Thanks for any help
