Haha.  My original closing was slated for 9/30. Loan officer asked why wait so long, and she proposed 9/13.  I agreed without looking at the calendar, the sooner the better.  Looked and saw Friday the 13th, shook my head. Congrats!

Our appraisal finally came in yesterday. We now have 6 days for seller to make repairs, send invoice for repairs, get repairs reinspected and then we close! Seller is also out of state but luckily he also very much wants to close on time. Can't believe we'll be home owners by this time next week.

Supposed to close on September 30th still waiting for final approval and clear to close.  The stress is horrible!  I cannot sleep, work or think I just keep waiting for my phone to ring.  I am not even sure how much I need to pay at closing-just saving every penny I can get my hands on.  Usually retail therapy calms me down but I can't do that right now because I need to save every penny just in case.  I thought having kids was stressful this is worse!  A few months ago I was in a perfect place now with the new interest rates not as great and it is downright scary.  I will be so happy if and when I finally get my keys.  After I move I will probably sleep for week lol.
