I paid for DH's MyFico scores today and TU is 661 and EQ is 656. Lender pull on 4/27/12 was TU 616, EX 668 and EQ 625. Should we be safe to apply for FHA?
The TU is holding you back, i'd wait at least until it is 650ish 1-2 mo. tops, I know how you feel and you wait to apply now, but those 2 months of waiting will be worth it for the next 15-30 years!!!
The TU from here is 661
Im sorry, I just seen that it was April, and not May! Your there, but borderline!
The question is... is his version of TU the same as the version the lender is pulling?

The broker I spoke with today said they use TU '98 and require a 640. I have a email out to confirm that with her.
What does your lender want? A 640 mid? If they just want a 640 mid, then you have it. Obviously though, I would keep working on his credit in case they do a second pull. My husbands credit just got repulled today and we're supposed to close tomorrow.
