My uncles condo in Vegas he bought for about 200k years ago and now ones in his development are selling for 18k..  Crazy.. I wish I had the cash to buy one and just rent it out!

In the current market, you could rent a 3 bedroom condo in a nice community for $800 with a lot of interest and a selection of people to choose from. A 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house in a nice neighborhood, at least $1000, but no more than $1100 or you'll lose interest. Now, if you opened it up to section 8 tenants??? I've seen 4 bedroom 2 stories at $1400. Of course it all depends on the location.

depends on the are, but they are decreasing right now and I believe they put a cap on them a couple years ago.
