I signed all my loan documents with the notary yesterday and wired funds to my escrow company. Today I get a phone call from my escrow officer stating that they have requested the funds for my mortgage and I feel excited about fulfilling the American dream.
A couple hours later, my loan officer calls me and states that there is a "small problem." she states that they still need to verify 4 months of rental history. I previously had rented a room from a someone and my LO couldn't get a hold of her and stated that they wouldn't release funds unless I can get a VOR. Luckily I save all of my cancelled checks and I was able to fax them to her.... So my best advice that I can give anyone is to save all your bank statements and any type of financial info.
Is there anything that can go wrong???? I can't wait for all of this to be over!!!!!!
