Started mortgage process

Good evening, I spoke with a lender today regarding a possible mortgage and was pre-approved with a Mid score of 750. I was happy because my scores were higher with lender pull. I'm pinching myself because i still can't believe I'm even starting this process. It seems unreal, I know it's still early but, I'm truly thankful to this forum for helping me out of a 554 starting credit score. I'll keep praying that it all goes wellSmiley Happy

Re: Started mortgage process

ipugh007, Thank you! I just wrote a lot of goodwill letters to creditors, paid off some debt and asked for them to delete the Tradelines. Also applied to Capital one 3 years ago to help rebuild, joined a Golden 1 credit union in the California area, applied for a couple of secured loans with them and a secured credit card. Please let me not forget to mention that I found this awesome site. After my credit grew and became a little stronger, I was able to apply and be approved for Discover It, and BarclayCard. I then realized I was eligible to join Navy Federal Credit Union and struck gold with Huge credit lines. Please read the rebuilder section of this forum, there is a lot of experience and great advice here, I'ts where I started. Good luck to youSmiley Happy

Re: Started mortgage process

I'm hoping by starting off at 592 and having about 10 items delete over the next 2 weeks it will increase it.
