Student Loan and Bank Documents

I am currently in school working towards a graduate degree. I told my college I do not want loans to "live off of". Yet they deposited money into my bank account. I feel this will interfere with my process of buying a home as the lender will see $2,000 worth of student loans given to me. I am currently in repayment status, not deferred. So I am paying on my undergraduate loans. Will the student loan funds deposited into my account disqualify me from purchasing a home. I also have a stable, 9-5 job and thats why I didn't want my college giving me student loan funds to live off of, when I spoke to them and they said I couldn't return the funds :-(

Re: Student Loan and Bank Documents

Why would it disqualify you? Worst thing about is it that it will have to be factored into your DTI, but your only looking at ~$20/mo increase.
