Submitted to UW today

Mid score 680, going with USDA. Going to the bank UW before we go to USDA.

320k home, zero down with 15k in reserves.

Any idea how long it takes to hear back from the UW before we go to USDA.

It all depends on your lender and the USDA area office and how backed up they are.

For me, my file was submitted to underwritering with the lender, I heard back about a week later with all the conditions they needed. I provided those conditions, and a couple of days after that they submitted to USDA.  Now, i have been in the holding pattern with USDA since 5/14.  I was originally told they were ona 10-12 business day delay at the time my file was submitted.  Today is the 12 buisness day, and i was now told (today) that the turnaround time has increased to 15-20 days due to amount of submissions they've had this month.  So hopefully i hear anyday now.  Its very VERY stressful waiting on hearing back from them.

jiffyj5 where are you located at? Our USDAturnaround time is 11-15 business days in Central FL, but someone else posted on this baord and made it through 7 business in Central FL and is closing tomorrow. I'm hoping that is the case.

I'm in columbia SC.  luckily i'm not scheduled to close until 6/20--glad my lender decided to submit early.  I just want to close on time.  21 days to go.
