Successful Loan Closing!!!

New House, here we come  Had our new construction loan funded after closing on Thursday.  After frantically getting ready, we can now sit back and wait for about 4 months to move!

I would not have been able to get us ready without the great advice on this site.  Even though we have accomplished our goal, I still intend to use this site regularly.  The information, for any life situation is worth it's weight in gold.

WTG!     Tell us about what you are planning to build.

We are building a two-story, 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath with attached 2 car garage and full, unfinished basement, rear deck off the breakfast nook and front covered porch.  It is about 2,400 sq feet, not including the basement which will add about another 1,200 sq. feet when we finish it.

Our family of five can definetely use more space.  Our youngest, who just turned 5 yrs. old will finally get her own bedroom.

It has taken DH and I 16 years to get to this point, pay off our land, and be in a position to get what we dreamed of instead of having to settle for less.  We worked hard, and now is the payoff.

The ground breaking will be May 12th, Happy Mother's Day to me!  lol
