I'm going through the same thing. I thought I was good to go when I got the credit approval last week, but the I find out the seller took forever to get condo docs over to the lender so the lender only got them on Friday. I guess the UW needs a few days since I'm sure she has other work to do too. Anyway, my projected new closing date is Friday. Hopefully that last verification goes smoothly for you and you can still be a September closer. Best of luck 
Trying to be positive. We have to vacate our current residence by noon on 9/30 (NOT our decision, btw. We have a B of a landlord). And my boss was so understanding and gave me the week off. But everyone else in my family is working. We put some stuff in storage thus past weekend. But I can't help but worry about a delayed closing and basically being homeless. The back-up plan is to stay in a hotel. I have 3 kids to take care of.

Im sorry that is happening. I promise though, it will all be worth it in the end.
Thanks for the support. So my LO kinda blamed me for not getting things done yesterday. I was waiting ALL DAY LONG for instructions and didn't get them til 5:45pm. The info was wrong. They sent me the right info at 6:45p. So I had to call the credit agency to do a verification but they were closed. I left a message. Today I called the agency, and I basically answered each question "I already faxed that to the LO over 2 weeks ago."
All of the hold ups now are things that could have been caught last week. Now the LO is saying we may not close tomorrow. I'm so frustrated with them. On top of that, they were sharing the details of the issues with the seller agent. I did say something to the LO and she apologized. Although the status of the loan can be shared, the details are privileged information. It's none of his business.

Drink heavily? Good luck! I got my clear to close like 2 weeks before closing...so I can imagine how utterly stressed out you must be. Hang in there.
