Supposed to close tomorrow- Update: We closed!

Well, tomorrow is the big day. We were originally supposed to close the 27th of August, but of course that didn't happen. (Wishful thinking.) The appraisal took longer than expected to come back and then the seller was slow to complete a few repairs.

 

On Monday I met the USDA officer out at the house and he did the final inspection (passed!). I also did my final walk-through. I can't tell you how emotional it was for me. This has been a long journey from divorce several years ago, foreclosure, and then the slow re-building of my life.

 

Thanks for all the help! I've learned a lot reading these boards. I improved my scores from a 400 three years ago to a 685 now. Yay!
