Tax transcripts

So we gave the loan officer and underwriter our full tax returns for two years, beware they also request the tax transcripts from the IRS!

This is standard procedure. Your Loan officer will ask for copies of your tax returns and request the transcripts from the IRS. It shouldn't be any problems as long ad your tax returns match up with your tax transcripts. This is to cut down on mortgage fraud.
