I want to greatly thank MYFICO boards for all the information. In 2 years I raised my score from mid 500s to 760. I have a scheduled closing on 9/21 ( was supposed to close 9/14 but due to Irma now closing 9/21)
I chose to use Quicken Loans for my mortgage. I was happy with the rate on a Conventional Loan as a first time home buyer.
My loan officer was a bit aggressive at first for me to lock the rate. But after I called her out and asked her to pump the breaks she backed off. I had worked with a few mortgage brokers than were less than responsive at times . My loan was a little different as we did a gift of equity and my mortgage amount was 147,000.
I really liked the Website design for quick communication and status updates.
So far the experience with this lender has been positive and hopefully the closing next week will be smooth
