The Mortgage Approvals Thread!!!

I have searched and searched for the old thread, but I cannot find it.

Please post your approvals along with all the trimmings (amount approved for, current credit scores, rate, type of loan, baddies (?) etc.)!

My wife and I are planning to buy in 2012 and I'd like to compile as much information as possible. I'm sure our community would greatly appreciate it as well.

Re: The Mortgage Approvals Thread!!!

Was that the best rate your lender gave you? I've seen rates on a 30-year for around 3.8% and you should definitely qualify given how great your credit profile looks.

That does seem a bit high, considering the credit profile given. We were quoted 3.75 on our preapproval, with scores in the 740s

I'm a single mom of 3 - no negatives on credit since 2007, 2007 consisted of 1 medical (they neglected to bill insurance and I didn't find out until I pulled my credit 2 years later) and 1 bill from Embarq for $350 that I refuse to pay (I cancelled service and went back to Cox, they never disconnected me - also paid a month in advance AND Century Link- the company that took over- said I "owe" $207 from their records).  I have a tax lien from the IRS that was paid in full and released in 2008-$6700, student loan that was defaulted for $1050 - paid in full (2009), VA collection they claim they overpaid while in school $811- paid in full (2009), 3 medical bills from 2005 that are unpaid (worker's comp covered half-I was uninsured at that time) - not required to pay and scheduled to fall off March/April this year, and a few paid medical collections from a car accident in 2006 that weren't paid until my attorney reached a settlement.  One cc with a $350 limit and $45 debit on it, min payment $15.  No other debts.  Mid Fico of 643, high of 668, low 614.
