Credit score Dec of 08 was 484 (and that was the best one). As of today, the best (well, the only one that's updated for this month anyway) is 653. We're still waiting for our old house to sell before we try to do anything for a new one, but at least with our scores coming up, I think we're getting closer to where we don't have to worry about whether we'd be approved or not.
