Time to buy a home but

We are trying to keep our children in the same school they are in now, problem is the builder out here is known for building cheap homes and they do not work with other real estage agents/buyer's agents, our 2 other options homes are kinda sorta out of our price range, one builds in the neighborhood where the school is that our children attend, its only about a 3-4 year old area but we are afraid of high taxes, I see ppl who are putting their homes up for sale and they have not lived there 2 years, the other builder starts at 250 and upSmiley Sad would like to stay right around 185k-205k. Yet we are tired of renting, maybe save more? Put more money down, research taxes near schools, we are stuck. We are thinking about going through our credit union not sure what loans they offer, we know FHA is not one.  Maybe we should garden and wait but then the rates are probably going up, lol wow this is crazy

Take a deep breath buddy Smiley Happy. Do you need to go the builder route? Can you find a home that is already built to fit your needs?
