In 2005-2008 I owed state taxes and I remember getting a letter in the mail (regular mail) that they had a lien on me, (not sure even if it said "lien" but I never worried bc I didn't own anything for them to "lien" on)...... Those taxes are long since paid and nothing shows on any of the credit reports about taxes. The info from the Title Company says that there are no tax liens for me and my husband.
Is there any reason i should worry at this point? Would I know by now if this is an issue?
