Oh no! That doesn't give me much hope my application will go fast since you still don't have a date. How long has it been since your file was completed 2 weeks 3 weeks? Im looking in brevard county. I plan on emailing them every week I don't get anything in the mail. My area specialist told me that's how I would get my date/time is by mail. It's such a great program but the process it takes to get it done has been anything but easy!

When I dropped off my application the lady I spoke with at the usda office said it would take 30 days to get my COE. It's been almost 2 months and I still don't have it. I guess they're busy with a lot of applicants.

The lady on the phone told me 30days AFTER my interview. I'm convinced they just make stuff up as they go.

So they said you won't receive the Coe until 30 days after you have your interview? Did you get a date for your interview when you had them on the phone?

Yes, That's what I was told on the phone. I also have no idea who I was speaking with. She was just returning my call.  I was also under the assumption the specialist that was collecting your information on the application was the specialist that would conduct the interview. But they keep saying "the next available specialist". I'm so confused.

I got a letter today from USDA. My appointment is scheduled for January 5th,2018. So I waited a month to get an appointment scheduled. Then I have to wait another month to actually have the appointment. Sigh.
The letter also states to bring my November statements to the interview and last 4 pay stubs .

Very cool. I got the same letter today same day and everything. Mine is scheduled for the 5th of january at 930. I wonder if they scheduled them at certain days/times? And the meeting is 1 to 2 hours 😮

My appt time is 7:30. I wouldn't be surprised if they scheduled everyone in one day. The specialists are always in and out the office so I suppose it's more efficient just to do once a month interviews. Just speculation.

Any news on how it went for both of you?

I'm about to submit my application (different state though) and even with the pre-application process it took weeks and constant calls. So just wondering if it got any better at some point.

No it hasn't. I'm still waiting. I've received 2 30 day wait letters and a paper that asked if I was still interested. To be fair the federal government shutdown didn't help but it's still been a longer process then it should've been. I'm at day 35 of my last 30 day wait letter. I'm hoping to get something soon.

I’m still waiting for the government to sign a budget for FY2018. Otherwise, I’m a step away from them issuing my certificate of eligibility.
