I just spoke to my LO and in her office all computers are down woooo has to be today lol lets see what happen during the day right now in Florida is 1:25pm

another day with no answer for me...our USDA office closes at 4:30...maybe tomorrow?

My LO just called me because USDA ask for flood zone she will send it this afternoon and then my file will be release I should be closing by this Friday

Can I ask the sq footage of the home they approved it for? Or is that only a limit for direct loans?

I'm not aware of a square footage limitation for the guaranteed loan program. The home we are under contract for is just over 2,000 sq ft.; and, we're a family of 2.

Im not sure either my is over 2,000sq and we are a family of 4 check on your local USDA web side

still no news.... My LO and her processor have nudged USDA for an update, but nothing. The additional paperwork they requested was sent to them this past Friday. They are now working on loans that were submitted 4 business days after mine. Hoping to hear something today, but I'm not holding my breath. We're just at the mercy of USDA, and there isn't anything that anybody can do about it. Hope you hear something today!
